What families ask first

Start with these three answers, then contact ROC Academy for details specific to your family.

What is ROC Academy?

ROC Academy is a homeschool hybrid, not a regular school. Students learn together at ROC on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00am to 2:30pm. Parents homeschool at home on Monday and Thursday, with lesson plans and support from ROC. Friday is Thrive Day, 9:00am to noon, and it is open to any homeschool family — not only enrolled families.

What are instructional days like?

Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am to 2:30pm, students learn the core subjects together in class: math, language arts, science, and history. Ask ROC Academy about current class sizes and grade groupings.

What are parents responsible for?

Parents are the homeschool teachers. On Monday and Thursday you teach your own students at home, using the lesson plans ROC sends home. ROC supports you with lesson planning and record-keeping guidance. It is a partnership: ROC does not replace the parent.
