Learn together
Students learn together at ROC on two instructional days — Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am to 2:30pm.
A week at ROC
ROC Academy is a homeschool hybrid, not a regular school. Students learn together Tuesday and Wednesday, parents homeschool Monday and Thursday with ROC's support, and Friday Thrive Day is open to any homeschool family.

The current week
ROC Academy is a homeschool hybrid. Families homeschool, and ROC carries two instructional days plus a Friday that is open to the wider homeschool community.
Monday

At home
Parents homeschool their own students. ROC sends the lesson plans and supports the work.
Tuesday

Wednesday
Instruction day
9:00am – 2:30pm
The second instructional day at ROC Academy, same hours as Tuesday.
Thursday
Home day
At home
Parents teach at home again, continuing the week's assigned learning.
Friday
Thrive Day
9:00am – noon
Open to any homeschool family, not only enrolled families. Drop-in is $10 per class for families who are not in the full program.
Three parts, one connected week
Two days of instruction at ROC, two home days that parents lead with ROC's support, and one Friday that is open to the whole homeschool community.
Students learn together at ROC on two instructional days — Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am to 2:30pm.
Monday and Thursday are home days. Parents homeschool their own students, and ROC supports them with lesson plans and guidance.
Friday is Thrive Day, 9:00am to noon, and it is open to any homeschool family — not only enrolled families.

Monday and Thursday are home days
Monday and Thursday are home days. You are the homeschool teacher on those days, and ROC gives you the plans and support to carry them well.
ROC teachers send lesson plans home so parents know exactly what to cover on Monday and Thursday.
On Monday and Thursday you homeschool your own students. ROC supports that work; it does not replace it.
Weekly work returns to class, so the two instruction days and the two home days stay connected.
What families can explore
These are examples of what a week can include. Extras change from term to term, so ask ROC Academy what is running right now.
Math, language arts, science, and history are taught together on the two instruction days.
Physical education and active games are part of the week. What is offered can change term to term.
Field trips are part of the year. Ask ROC Academy which trips are planned right now.
Thrive Day welcomes any homeschool family. Drop-in classes are $10 each for families not in the full program.
Family partnership
You are the homeschool parent, and that does not change. ROC carries the two instructional days, provides lesson plans and record-keeping guidance, and stands beside you on Monday and Thursday when you teach. The week only works because families and ROC carry it together.
Find your next step
Ask ROC Academy to confirm the current schedule, then continue when your family is ready.
